I have a deep passion and love for J.K Rowling's Wizarding World fantasies like Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts. I love all the movies and read some of their greatest adventures. First time's the charm when collaborating with Amy McSweeney, YouTube Blogger and a huge Harry Potter fan. It is my first cosplay portrait/portraiture shooting with someone who has loved the same novel/film adaptation just as me.
I couldn't believe that I get to be featured in Amy's YouTube video, even though when making a little mistake when speaking. It happens... and I hate it though (LOL).
But here I go, doing more than a couple of shoots in St. Anne's Park. I can imagine her wearing her Hufflepuff uniform, wielding Professor Moody's and Bellatrix Lestrange's wand, standing around in a park gives me a little goosebumps... like she and I being transported into J.K Rowling's world.
We all used different props for our shoots. At first, Amy has both her wands, and the golden egg. As for me, I brought my Marauder's Map and my Fantastic Beasts screenplay book. We both imagined to create a certain scene or story as a Hufflepuff student, even though when pretending to be attacked by the dark arts, or even Death Eaters.
We did a certain style for shooting some specific scenes. For example, I took a shot of her pretending to hold her books with a pleasing environment. Second, I did different scenes and actions when she wields her wand. It's like when she's about to say "Expelliarmus" (No three unforgivable curses were used in this shooting).
