Modelling became so popular and widespread since the beginning. This is where people are living with an exceptional and expressive lifestyle. People lived with modelling as their passion and enthusiasm on expressing their true image. Fashion is highly involved throughout, which gives a certain lifestyle for people to boost their image. Since we are faced in a world of social media, entertainment and lifestyle, different aspects of people faced with modelling just because of their looks, talents and skills. But the only thing on how people need to face up before becoming a fashion model is their confidence and style. Let me compare the experience and my opinions on how to conquer it!...
For myself, I started as a fitness model a year ago. Fitness is a part of my lifestyle because I know that it's important. In a way of becoming a model, I have to build up myself in facing the greatest challenge is by showing some confidence and enthusiasm right in front of the camera. Before becoming a model, I did encounter a lot of people who are models (a freelancer and a professional) during my previous collaboration as a photographer. Yes, as a photographer I show some confidence towards my model when it comes to help and shooting. So anyway, back at it, these models really inspire the most! I admire the way how they show off their pose, emotions, expression and style of outfits. It's like they have a strong taste of being a fashion model. I used to tell myself by saying "come on dude! Be a model! Show yourself who you are and what you can do!" I always have that in my conscious. And there I go! I started with fitness modelling.
When I first did my fitness modelling, all I did is show off a certain pose. I just flexed muscles, work certain moves with my arms and body. I find it all little bit of distinction... means that I need to pose more than that. But it was first trial. There's no error in modelling. It's a matter of expressing. But the only success is showing myself off at the camera out of pride and confidence. I always see myself in the camera as a result. It was a good result!
However, when I see myself from the camera, there are certain images that I don't like and on need of a proper pose or camera angle. In a way how I deal is by giving a clear clarification to the photographer on how to work on the camera view properly. Mostly, I allow my photographer to instruct me on working my poses properly. We can always compare on my style and my photographer's style of posing.

What if I do a fitness modelling without my shirt on? Well, I did that one time during last year's summer break. I do inspire most of my favourite fitness models or athletes when they've done a shoot for promotion. Let me give a short background in my experience...
It was the same photographer that did my first fitness shoot, as we did it on a parking space above a shopping centre. It was a good thing there's not much people or cars. The first thing I start is by wearing first my apparel, then started with no apparel. Before showing off my body in front of the camera I just rubbed baby oil around me.
So why did I rub baby oil around myself?
Just to create some sort of a sweaty look, or to make my body look shiny. I really do have a strong looking physique too! I showed off my style of posing and flexing my arms in front of the camera. As I've checked the pics, everything went well and productively amazing for me. I became even more confident when seeing just how handsome and strong how I look in the pictures. Sometimes, being over confident is not really that good. It's better to have the slightest confidence with humble and pride. Just simple to yourself and enjoy your modelling time. I always felt happy and proud to see how I look in those pictures.
When it comes to using so much with Instagram, I became so attached to it and my modelling career. Everyday I looked at the amazing posts by famous Instagram celebrities. I felt so inspired on the way their style of outfits and grooming shows. This is where I started my journey in becoming an Instagram model.
I build up myself in feeling to have more interest in styling different modelling genres. I started off with street style modelling. This time, I'm with a different photographer. Let me tell you about collaborating a photographer. Sometimes I post an ad on a modelling group using Facebook and describe about my collaboration. It's also important to write "drop your portfolio links in comment below." You need to see how your photographers' portfolio should look like. Depend on their style of shooting, composition and theme. Relate on their portrait style. You need to have photographer with a creative and professional background and their style of picture-taking.
As I progressed on my modelling and posting use my pictures for Instagram, I started to work on a new type of modelling style. I started off in being a brand model.
So what's a brand model... or what is brand modelling?
A brand model is a kind of model who literally models for a specific brand of outfits or accessories. I started doing it when I first got my brand ambassadorship for a magnetic jewelry and wellness brand. It was owned to a very good friend of mine. I started wearing my products and ended up on a photograph. It makes me want to push more on wearing the most specific and famous brand on modelling with it. I've been doing it continuously and I enjoy it a lot. It's being a brand ambassador... or soon will be.
As a brand model you can work any style of outfits you want. For example, I can wear any outfit from Primarks or Tommy Hilfiger. It can be the same outfit style, or can mix different outfit styles you want. Once you have picked your outfit style, you can work on your pose right in front of the camera. It's more better to feel confident, simple and humble. Don't try to overdo your style by showing off more and more aggressively. No one likes a show off!

So, in modelling, people needed to boost more of their confidence to define their personality. Personality, appearance and grooming is the key features on how a model should have. I prefer to rely more on maintain my looks, style and confidence. I should be more comfortable in enjoying more modelling collaborations in the future... somehow being an actual professional model for a print.
And that is the end on how to deal with modelling and boosting your confidence. Of course, those are all my opinions and experiences because I've been doing it for a year. If anyone has a different opinion then great! You should comment below. I would love to hear it from you. I hope you enjoy reading it!
Sincerely,
Jedd Cabreza
